Welcome to Uncork and Create, a one-woman shop born out of a love for crafting, a deep pride in Appalachian culture, and the belief that making something beautiful with your own hands is one of life's greatest joys.

How It All Started

Like a lot of great ideas, this one started with a little curiosity and a lot of crushed glass. I fell in love with suncatcher making and quickly realized that there weren't many options available. I wanted to create something new. Kits that felt special, rooted in the places and stories I love, and easy enough for anyone to pick up and enjoy.

So I started designing my own. And people loved them.

What began as a passion project grew into Uncork and Create. A shop dedicated to bringing the joy of handmade art to your home, your porch window, and your heart.

What Makes Our Kits Special

Every Uncork and Create kit is designed with beginners in mind. No experience needed. Just enthusiasm. Each kit comes with everything you need:

Rooted in Place, Inspired by Story

Our designs are anything but generic. I draw inspiration from the landscapes, legends, and local pride of Appalachia and beyond. You'll find suncatchers celebrating the beauty of West Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. The rolling mountains, the rivers, the wildflowers.

And then there are the legends. If you've ever stayed up late swapping stories about Mothman or debated whether Bigfoot is real, you're going to feel right at home here. Our cryptid collection is a love letter to the weird, wonderful folklore that makes this region so unforgettable.
